“Stories are passed down through generations. We like to keep this tradition alive by incorporating those stories into our own works. Just as stories have evolved over the centuries through word-of-mouth, we are telling our own versions of ancient myths and legends in our own words, through our visuals. As many have before us, we are also adding to the stories as the years go by, continuing in the tradition of good storytelling. Perhaps our work appears to be melancholic, but we like that it is always possible to find beauty in darkness, both literally and figuratively…” (Alexandra Groover & Rafel Delalande)
